  16. Crime is considered by the public as a menace to the society. However, from the criminological perspective its existence is also considered an advantage. Cite the advantages mentioned and give your comment - specifically on whether you agree or not on the issue that crime is also an advantage.

1. Committed - It means by commission of the crime/crimes

Ommitted - Is also a crime by omission.

2.Omission- The failure to perform a positive duty which one is bound to do.
Commission - By doing so a crime committed for a certain act.

3. Culpa - It means fault or a mistake and; Dolo - It means Deceit or deceptions.
4. The sample of culpa when thier is deliberate intent, by example of murder in which you have intent to kill. while Dolo this crime result to imprudence by wrongful act, example while driving a vehicle you are lack of foresight and bump somthing that already a fault on your part.
5. Spontaneous has a relation to attempeted crime by its definition itselt of an attempted crime. Attempted crime, there is an attempt when the offender commences the commission of the crime directly by overt acts and does not perform all the acts of execution which should produce the crime by reason of some cause or accident other than his own spontaneous desistance.
6. "independent of the will of the perpetrator" This means that the perpetrator has the will to continue or not to continue the crime in which this differentiate the attempted and the frustrated crime.

16. Yes I agree that thier is an advantages, because i do believe all aspects in life has its positive and negative side. In criminology aspect crime is important in the sense that people have to be cautious in any manner because of this so called natural phenomena of the crime and it created to our society a move, to create a certain law to rule in order us to follow what is rigth and what is wrong.

1. the difference between committed and ommited in relation to the definition of crime is that the former is the act of performing a thing which is punishable by law while the latter is mean inaction or failure to perform a positive duty which one is bound to do.

2. (a)by commission - theft (b) by ommission - abandonment of persons in danger.

3. the only difference between culpa and dolo is that in the first, the offender acts without malice whereas, in the second the offender acts with malice.

4. crime by : (a) culpa - reckless imprudence resulting in homicide (b) by dolo - murder

5. the word spontaneous in relation to the definition of attempted crime means the actor's FREE WILL of dicontinuing the execution of the crime.

6. inddependent of the will of the perpetrator means the the crime me not be consummated because of the timely intervention of a third person.

15. for me it is a must for the society to be interested all about crimes because society plays a very important role in the prevention / control of crimes. aside from the fact that without the vigilance of the people in a society, a crime would be imposible to resolve, anyone can be a victim of crimes too.

16. i beg to disagree.. crimes or criminality will cause the people living therein worried, scared, restless, etc. it widely affects their liveliood and economy. scarcity will arise.i dont see any reason making a crime an advantage to the society..if there are no more criminals, i firmly believe the society or the country as a whole will of course become a more united and more developed one.
